Mustafa
Filmmaker and painter, in education and cultural work since 2008, in Berlin, in Türkiye and in Spain. Has built and led exhibitions, workshops and learning formats in several cities, often where nothing of the kind existed before.
Irfan
Videographer and photographer for over ten years, has filmed in 35 countries. Leads Open Lens and the film work in Studio Belziger and looks after equipment and editing.
Liza
Stylist and visual artist in Berlin. Her work is about transitions, identity and what clothing says about people. Leads the fashion and material work in Studio Belziger.
Marry
Artist, filmmaker and visual storyteller. Her work deals with structural injustice and with what gives people a voice. Leads storytelling with text and image in Open Lens.
The four know each other from years of working together in Berlin. Exhibitions, screenings, cooking evenings, workshops in kitchens and libraries, evenings on which someone showed what they had made for the first time. Berlicht grew out of that shared work.
